Resting Burrito Face makes Nashville breakfast burritos out of two trailers — one in East Nashville, one in Wedgewood-Houston. We're Noel and Lyndzay, a husband-and-wife team raising two small humans on caffeine, Sonoran-style tortillas, and a borderline-concerning amount of Nashville SC fandom.

We took over the trailer formerly known as JMAS Breakfast Burritos in 2024, gave it a name that finally matched the personality behind it, and have been building Resting Burrito Face ever since.

From JMAS to Resting Burrito Face

In 2023, a mutual connection through the Nashville Dads podcast introduced us to Jensen and Sierra — the original owners of JMAS Breakfast Burritos. One conversation over a shared love of burritos turned into a partnership, and then ownership. On April 1, 2024, we officially took over JMAS.

By August 2025, JMAS Breakfast Burritos became Resting Burrito Face. The food didn't change — same Sonoran-style tortillas, same signature lineup (the B3, Reezo, Cali, Gnome, Imposter, and Beefy Boi). Just branding that finally matched the humor and personality behind it all.

If you used to grab a burrito from JMAS, you're in the right place. Same people, same recipes, new name.

How we Got here

Noel came to Nashville from San Diego for Belmont a lot of moons ago. Lyndzay moved here from Northwest Ohio more than twelve years back. We got married, settled in East Nashville, and now spend most of our waking hours keeping two tiny humans alive while running a breakfast burrito business.

Before the trailer life, Noel spent his career in restaurants, catering, and running businesses. Lyndzay put in 10 years at Starbucks before swapping aprons for foil wrappers. When we're not working, we're at an NSC match, eating our way through Nashville, or pretending we have time for hobbies.

Quick Questions

Still have questions? Take a look at the FAQ or reach out anytime. If you’re feeling ready, go ahead and apply.

  • Yes. Resting Burrito Face is the rebranded version of JMAS Breakfast Burritos. We took over JMAS on April 1, 2024 and rebranded to RBF in August 2025. Same recipes, same Sonoran-style tortillas — just a name that fits the vibe better.

  • Sonoran-style refers to the tortilla — thin, flaky, made with flour, and originating from the Sonoran region of northern Mexico. It's softer and lighter than a typical flour tortilla, and it's the foundation of every burrito we make.

  • We have two trailers in Nashville. The East Nashville trailer is at 1200 Porter Rd, behind Tabula Rasa Toys. The Wedgewood-Houston trailer is at 1110 4th Ave S, in the shared lot with Merge Coffee Bar.

  • Yes. You can order ahead through Square Online and skip the line. The order link lives at the top of every page on this site. Or right here

At the end of the day, we just want to make really good breakfast burritos and build a place people actually want to come back to. Getting to do that with this community? Pretty damn cool.
